Biography

As a member of Shutts & Bowen's Business Litigation Practice Group, Danet Rodriguez Figg counsels companies to meet the challenges involved in legal business disputes. She has a broad range of experience handling complex commercial and real estate litigation matters in both federal and state courts, trial and appellate.  She is based in the West Palm Beach Office.

Ms. Figg serves on Shutts & Bowen's Diversity Committee, where she contributes her perspective as a Hispanic woman to the firm's diversity initiative. 

Ms. Figg received her B.A., with honors, from Florida International University in 1997, and her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law in 2003.  While at the University of Florida, she was a member of the Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Team and served on the Moot Court Board as the Publicity Chair.  She also served on the Journal of Technology, Law and Policy.
