David Coviello is an attorney in Shutts & Bowen’s Miami office, where he is a member of the Land Use & Zoning Practice Group. Mr. Coviello has broad experience representing developers, property owners and other clients in the zoning and land use permitting process. He has also handled complex comprehensive planning matters, as well as drafted development agreements for large scale mixed use projects. Mr. Coviello also regularly assists clients with zoning and land use due diligence, as well as code compliance and licensing matters.
Background
Mr. Coviello graduated from Vermont Law School in 1999 and received his B.S. in Natural Resource Management and Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1996. He served as the personal law clerk to Chief Justice Francis M. McDonald of the Supreme Court of Connecticut, and is also a member of the Connecticut Bar. Prior to joining Shutts & Bowen, Mr. Coviello practiced at a boutique land use and zoning firm in Connecticut.
