Geoffrey Randall is a partner in Shutts & Bowen's Financial Services Practice Group. A 1982 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, Mr. Randall has focused his practice on the representation of financial institutions and on corporate and international commercial law throughout his 30-year career. Mr. Randall's experience in the banking area includes a wide range of regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance matters; fiduciary and investment matters; assistance with the development of policies and procedures and new products, with geographic expansion, and with servicing arrangements; transactional work, including lending and other financings, mergers and acquisitions, branch purchases, and corporate reorganizations; UCC issues; bank holding company organization matters; and, with the support of other firm attorneys, litigation, creditors' rights, tax, government relations, and real estate matters. Among the financial services clients that Mr. Randall has represented are local community banks, regional and U.S. money center banks, and foreign banking organizations, as well as trust companies, broker-dealers, investment advisory firms, and money-services businesses. Mr. Randall is fluent in Spanish, and the Spanish language is an integral part of his practice.
