Jaafar Choufani is an associate in the Orlando office and is a member of the firm’s Corporate Group. Mr. Choufani provides corporations and individuals with advice and knowledge from experiences gained both domestically and internationally in the areas of corporate law and international business transactions. Mr. Choufani also focuses his practice on hospitality and leisure finance, intellectual property, and sports law. Prior to joining Shutts & Bowen LLP, Mr. Choufani worked for the Swedish firm Setterwalls Advokatbyrå in their Stockholm office as a summer associate.
Mr. Choufani is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School in Boston. While at Suffolk Law School, he served as President of the Student Bar Association as well as the student representative on the law school’s most recent Dean Search Committee. Mr. Choufani earned his B.B.A. degree from University of Miami where he studied international finance and sports management. Mr. Choufani has also studied corporate and intellectual property law at Lunds University in Lund, Sweden.
