Janelle Herrera is an attorney in the Business Litigation Practice Group in Shutts & Bowen's Miami office. Ms. Herrera has handled matters involving commercial foreclosures, complex commercial litigation, and bankruptcy litigation. While attending law school, Ms. Herrera was an active member of the University of Miami Law Review and the Moot Court Board. She was also named to the Dean's List and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Real Estate Transaction and for Immigration Law, and the Prosser Award for Intellectual Property. Upon graduating in the top ten percent of her class, Ms. Herrera became a member of the Order of the Coif Honor Society. Ms. Herrera's previous professional experience includes working as a summer clerk for the Honorable Kenneth L. Ryskamp, Senior Judge in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
