Lynn Valaes has worked in both the legal and real estate fields for more than 10 years. In 2002, she decided to focus on a legal career in the practice area of transactional commercial real estate. Since that time, Ms. Valaes has been involved in an extensive array of commercial real estate transactions with representation on the side of Buyers, Sellers and Lenders.
With a thorough knowledge and understanding of commercial and residential real estate transactions, Ms. Valaes has participated in contract drafting, contract review and analysis, complex title and survey examination and clearance matters, pre-closing due diligence functions, preparation of all closing documents, closing statements and title policies. She has conducted closing procedures and post-closing functions. With her diverse real estate knowledge, Ms. Valaes is able to independently facilitate a transaction from contract to post-closing.
In addition her work in the real estate area, Ms. Valaes has assisted in probate, commercial bankruptcy and creditors' rights matters, and litigation involving pre-trial preparations, document production and analysis.
Ms. Valaes attended St. Petersburg College and received her paralegal certificate in 2007 from the University of Miami.
