
Matthew R. Chait
Matthew Chait is a litigation partner in West Palm Beach, where he counsels financial institutions, corporations and other businesses both in and out of court. Mr. Chait handles a wide variety of commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on real estate and creditors' rights litigation. He frequently represents financial institutions, private equity funds and servicers in complex commercial foreclosures, loan workouts and suits on loan guaranties. Mr. Chait also advises clients in matters including contract disputes, landlord-tenant matters, title issues and business torts, such as fraud.
Background
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Chait practiced law in New York. He also served as an intern in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and as an intern for the Honorable Richard Conway Casey, United States District Judge, Southern District of New York.
