Biography

Murray Silverstein is a partner in Shutts & Bowen's Tampa office, where he is a member of the Business Litigation Practice Group.  Mr. Silverstein represents individuals and businesses in a variety of commercial and real estate related disputes in state and federal courts in jury and non-jury trials.  Mr. Silverstein also handles appeals in state and federal courts and is Florida Bar Board Certified in the areas of civil trial and business litigation.

Additionally, Mr. Silverstein provides representation to clients involved in administrative proceedings.  For healthcare providers, Mr. Silverstein has experience with physician credentialing, peer review and defense of disciplinary investigations and proceedings.

On behalf of automotive dealers, Mr. Silverstein has experience litigating add-points, relocations, terminations, and related franchise disputes, as well as specific remedies available to dealers under state and federal law.

As a certified mediator with more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Silverstein helps parties resolve their commercial, contract, shareholder/partner, real estate, construction, employment and related disputes.  Schedule a mediation.
