Biography

Steven J. Zucker is a partner in the Orlando office of Shutts & Bowen and his practice is primarily in the areas of public finance and local government law.  He serves as counsel to Cities, Community Redevelopment Agencies, Community Development Districts, Expressway Authorities and other local governments and special districts in the offering of tax-exempt bonds, notes and other forms of indebtedness and in rendering legal advice on local government law issues, including the Sunshine Law and the Public Records Law in the State of Florida.  Mr. Zucker also represents investment bankers as underwriter’s counsel in the purchase of tax-exempt bond offerings. His other experience pertains to special assessments, state and local taxes.  He is a member of the firm's Government Law and Public Finance Practice Group.  Prior to his joining Shutts & Bowen in 2002, Mr. Zucker was with the City Attorney’s Office for the City of Orlando, Florida.
