Tony Martinez began his career as a civil engineer with Esso Research and Engineering Company in Linden, New Jersey. While there, he attended New York University School of Law from which he transferred to the University of Florida.
Mr. Martinez is involved in a broad real estate practice concentrating in commercial real estate acquisitions, sales, loans, leases, workouts, real estate litigation, and related matters including ad valorem tax protests, agricultural transactions, condemnation, title insurance and oil, gas and mineral interests.
Mr. Martinez has handled a number of large multi-state transactions such as the Allied Stores loans (20 shopping centers in Florida). His transactions experience involves the acquisition, financing and sale of various types of properties in South Florida including office buildings, malls, hospitals, bank buildings, agricultural properties, warehouses and condominiums. His real estate litigation practice includes mortgage foreclosures, condemnation cases and ad valorem tax protests.
