Jonathan Fordin uses sharp analysis, legal skill and negotiating savvy to defuse contentious disputes or tackle them in court. This experienced litigator is a valued counselor for the insurance industry and is frequently asked to handle cases involving life, health and disability insurance. With more than 23 years in litigation, he represents clients throughout Florida as a partner in the Insurance Practice Group.
Recognized not only as a skilled trial lawyer, but also a strong mediator, Mr. Fordin carefully evaluates each case for the most efficient strategy. A certified mediator, his incisive analysis has benefited clients, leading to negotiation of an early settlement or effective litigation. He represents securities brokers and dealers, corporations and other business entities on claims under ERISA and state law, as well as issues related to HIPAA and first party claims.
Mr. Fordin has been certified as a civil litigation mediator by the Florida Supreme Court since 2001. He is also a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy Program and has been on the faculty for numerous trial advocacy programs sponsored by NITA.
