Alfred ("Al") LaSorte offers clients a combination of skills and experience. With more than 25 years in both real estate and litigation, his expertise ranges from broad commercial disputes, to a very specialized niche in title insurance litigation. Mr. LaSorte's experience as lead counsel in nearly one hundred jury and non-jury trials and his extensive knowledge of substantive real estate law afford him a unique vantage point from which to counsel his clients, be they business or real property owners, title insurers or lending institutions. Mr. LaSorte practices in West Palm Beach, where he is a partner in the Business Litigation Department.
Accomplishments
Mr. LaSorte has been rated as an "AV" or top-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell for 15 years. He is also Florida Bar board certified in civil trial law and business litigation. He has been named by Best Lawyers in America 2009 in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Real Estate Law and was recently named a Finalist for the Key Partner Award by South Florida Business Journal in Real Estate law.

His clients hire him to help clear encumbrances on a property's title and to resolve legal disputes both in and out of court. He is one of few Florida lawyers with this specific focus.
Professional Activities
Mr. LaSorte offers his knowledge to others in the industry by participating in seminars and lecturing before various groups in Florida. Within the past year alone, he has presented seminars at the Florida Bar Real Estate Certification Review Course, the Attorneys Title Fund Assembly and the University of Miami Annual Institute on Real Property Law. He is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the American Land Title Association and the Florida Land Title Association. He also serves as the Chair of The Florida Bar Business Litigation Certification Committee, and is a member and former Chairman of the 15th Judicial Circuit Professionalism Council.
