With more than 29 years of experience in both real estate and litigation, Al LaSorte's expertise ranges from broad commercial disputes to a niche practice in title insurance litigation. His experience as lead counsel in nearly one hundred jury and non-jury trials and his knowledge of substantive real estate law afford him a vantage point from which to counsel his clients, be they business or real property owners, title insurers or lending institutions. Mr. LaSorte practices in West Palm Beach, where he is a partner in the Business Litigation Department.

Mr. LaSorte has been rated as an "AV" or top-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell for 17 years. He is Florida Bar Board Certified in both Civil Trial Law and Business Litigation. He has been named by Best Lawyers in America 2009 and 2010 and Florida Super Lawyers in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Real Estate Law and has been a Finalist for the Key Partner Award by South Florida Business Journal in Real Estate law.
Experience
Mr. LaSorte provides counsel to businesses, lenders and title insurers throughout the state on real estate and title insurance matters. He represents his clients in large, complex commercial foreclosure actions, title encumbrances and legal disputes both in and out of court. He is one of few Florida lawyers with a focus on title insurance issues.
Professional Activities
Mr. LaSorte regularly participates in seminars and lectures before various groups in Florida such as the Florida Bar Real Estate Certification Review Course, the Attorneys Title Fund Assembly and the University of Miami's Annual Ralph E. Boyer Institute on Real Property Law. He is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Florida Land Title Association. He is also a member and former chair of both The Florida Bar Business Litigation Certification Committee, and the 15th Judicial Circuit Professionalism Council.
