Francis E. "Frank" Rodríguez is a partner in Shutts & Bowen's Miami office. He focuses his practice on federal and Florida tax issues, as well as on general business transactions. Mr. Rodriguez represents lenders and borrowers with respect to commercial transactions and assists non-residents and foreign corporations with inbound tax planning.
Mr. Rodríguez is a member of the Tax Section of The Florida Bar and several other professional and civic organizations. He has been awarded the Miami-Dade County Bar Association Pro-Bono Award for his pro-bono services.
Mr. Rodriguez received a Certificate in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Florida International University’s Latin American and Caribbean Center. In July 1994, he received a certificate for the Seminario Sobre la Continuidad en la Cultura Espanola, from the Universidad de Alcala de Henares, Centro de Estudios Norteamericano, Madrid, Spain.
