Ryan Bailine is an attorney in Shutts & Bowen’s Land Use Practice Group. Mr. Bailine handles development projects throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. He guides developers, property owners and entrepreneurs through the land use approval and entitlement process, in connection with residential commercial and industrial developments. Mr. Bailine often handles complex archeological, utility, environmental, subdivision and historic designation matters. As part of his practice, he regularly appears before local government boards and regulatory agencies to resolve zoning, permitting and similar complex land use problems.

Mr. Bailine represents national developers, Florida based property owners and entrepreneurs with respect to real estate, land use, zoning, and related development matters. He frequently represents clients before local government boards and regulatory agencies as part of obtaining various entitlements and approvals. Mr. Bailine has extensive experience in drafting development agreements, along with architectural and construction contracts.
Mr. Bailine has substantial experience in the development of high quality affordable housing and "Green" building developments throughout Florida. His experience ranges from Low Income Tax Credit and Tax Exempt Bond financed projects to SAIL, SHIP, HOPE VI and similar governmental loan programs. As part of his practice, Mr. Bailine also advises public and closely held companies and their principal owners on a wide range of development related issues, including structuring, planning, acquisitions and litigation. His attention to detail and ability to quickly and efficiently respond to client needs on a wide range of development matters, assures his clients that their business and personal matters will be handled with both sensitivity and timeliness.

Prior to joining Shutts & Bowen, Mr. Bailine was an attorney with a national law firm. His practice focused on real estate, land use, leasing and commercial financing matters, which allows him to assist clients throughout the development process, as well as with related financing and structuring issues.
