David A. Gemunder is a partner in Shutts & Bowen’s Tampa office, where he practices in the firm's Corporate Practice Group. Mr. Gemunder concentrates his practice on business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, general corporate law, contract negotiations, coordination of commercial litigation matters and health care law.
Mr. Gemunder has worked on a wide variety of transactional matters for both public and private clients, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. He has lectured extensively on various topics relating to business transactions, and has contributed to several publications, including the American Bar Association's Model Asset Purchase Agreement and the forthcoming Revised Model Stock Purchase Agreement.
Mr. Gemunder has held several leadership positions in the American Bar Association's Section of Business Law, and has been named as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Hillel Jewish Student Center of Greater Tampa Bay.
