Labor and Employment Experience

With a sole focus on representing management, Mr. Scheck is thoroughly familiar with the employment issues that arise in day-to-day operations. This strength allows him to anticipate potential problems and build strategies to help avoid disputes. He also represents clients in litigation. In such cases, he helps businesses enforce non-compete agreements, for example, and handles claims involving unpaid wages or overtime, as well as employment discrimination cases and other labor matters.

Outside of litigation, Mr. Scheck often advises clients on personnel consultation, labor union avoidance and supervisory training, as well as corporate policy issues. He also has experience with problems that are inherent to large employers: building procedures that can be applied consistently across several states and communicating new developments in statutes and case law.

Professional Associations

Mr. Scheck is very active in local and state bar associations. He is a member of The Florida Bar and is a past member of its Young Lawyers’ Division Board of Governors. He also serves on the Executive Council of the Orange County Bar Association and is past President of the association’s Young Lawyers’ Section and its Law Week Committee.  Mr. Scheck is a Guardian-ad-Litem in Orange County.
