Mark Thomson is a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group of the Shutts & Bowen Orlando office. He concentrates his practice in commercial and residential real estate transactions and development, institutional lender financing, land use, zoning and environmental law, environmental and development permitting, commercial leasing, entity formation and business and asset transactions.
Mr. Thomson is a former Member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Orlando Business Network. He is Past Chairman of the Federal Emergency Management Association Legal Assistance Program of the Broward County Bar Association, Past Chairman of the Ft. Lauderdale Community Appearance Board, Past Chairman of the Ft. Lauderdale Unsafe Structures and Housing Appeals Board, and is a Florida Licensed Landscape Architect. He is the author of several published articles in the areas of title insurance, commercial real estate financing, real estate transactions, and has lectured for Continuing Legal Education seminars in the areas of land surveying, title insurance, commercial real estate financing and real estate transactions.
