Donald “Don” Wasil, an experienced real estate attorney, is a committed advocate when negotiating commercial transactions for his clients. A partner in the firm's Miami office and Co-Chairman of the Real Estate Practice Group, Mr. Wasil has more than 25 years of experience in real estate. His experience in development and finance, coupled with a strategic outlook, has benefited clients throughout Florida.
Mr. Wasil works with businesses to facilitate development, negotiate agreements and resolve problems. In all, he focuses on overcoming obstacles and making sure expectations are met. Representing lenders, developers and investors, he frequently handles large real estate financings and developments, including multi-state acquisitions and sales. He also works with real estate brokers in contract negotiations and counsels most of the major title insurance firms in Florida.
Named to Florida Trend's “Legal Elite” in real estate transactions, Mr. Wasil is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell and is a licensed Florida real estate broker. He has also been named by Best Lawyers in America Guide in the Real Estate area. Mr. Wasil has been a lawyer at the firm since 1980 and a partner since 1986.
