Michael L. "Mike" Gore concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy Practice Group in the Orlando office. In addition, Mr. Gore represents property owners and developers in land use, and property rights litigation/arbitration. A significant percentage of his practice involves representation of lending institutions and asset managers in matters related to the collection, foreclosure, and work-out of commercial loans, as well as the defense of lender liability actions.
In addition to representing clients in the state and federal courts in the State of Florida, Mr. Gore represents clients in administrative proceedings before the Division of Administrative Hearings, and various state agencies, and he has represented several public officers before the Commission on Ethics for the State of Florida. Mr. Gore has appellate experience before the State of Florida District Courts of Appeal, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Mr. Gore is a member of the Florida Bar and of the Orange County Bar Association, and in addition to the State Courts of Florida, Mr. Gore is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Gore serves as a member of the Executive Committee (Past-President) and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Florida Zoological Society. He has served in the past as Chairman of the Grievance Committee for the Florida Bar, Section 9D. Mr. Gore is listed in Who’s Who in American Law, 8th Edition.
