Landlords and property owners across the country seek Art Menor's expertise in commercial leasing. With more than 29 years in real estate law, he offers considerable experience and has also developed new techniques to improve the lease drafting and negotiation processes. He leads the firm's Real Estate Leasing Practice Group as its Chairman and is the Partner in Charge of the West Palm Beach office.
Experience
As a seasoned veteran, Mr. Menor has worked on real estate projects of all sizes. He advises landlords and commercial tenants in various aspects of the leasing process and also counsels developers, investors, and lenders as well.
After specializing in commercial leasing for many years, Mr. Menor devised his own techniques for building and customizing lease agreements. His methods have resulted in higher quality, customized leasing documents that are produced in a cost-effective manner. As a Florida Bar Board Certified attorney, he provides his expertise to clients and others in the industry.
Professional Activities
Mr. Menor is the past Chairman of the Landlord/Tenant Committee and is the Co-Vice Chairman of the Real Estate Certification Exam Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar. He is also on the Section's Executive Council.
He has lectured and written extensively on landlord/tenant issues. His written work includes the "Leases" chapter of the Florida Real Property Complex Transactions manual (4th Edition 2005), published by The Florida Bar. He has also published articles in Action Line (the publication of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar), Real Estate Monthly, Palm Beach Post, South Florida Business Journal, Daily Business Review, and South Florida Legal Guide.
Mr. Menor's speaking engagements include Landlord/Tenant Seminars sponsored by The Florida Bar, three annual conventions for The Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, the 2008 Legislative and Case Law Update seminar of the Section, and an annual meeting and seminar for Florida Legal Assistants, Inc.
Recognition
Throughout his career, Mr. Menor has been recognized for his legal work. He is a Fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. He is Board Certified in Real Estate Law by The Florida Bar. He is also "AV" or top rated by the Martindale-Hubbell legal directory.
