Jeffrey M. Landau is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department and a member of the firm's Insurance Practice Group. Mr. Landau's practice includes representation of insurance companies in coverage disputes involving disability, life, and health insurance policies, and related ERISA issues. In addition, Mr. Landau also is experienced in litigation matters involving franchise disputes, general contract and commercial disputes, business torts, Lanham Act (including trademark, false advertising and unfair competition), and banking matters. Although his practice is primarily in federal and state court, Mr. Landau has also handled arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association.
In addition to Mr. Laundau's other affiliations, he is currently serving a three-year term as a member of The Florida Bar’s Federal Court Committee. Locally, he has been a member of the Dade County Bar Association’s Federal Court Committee, assisting in the development of a Discovery Practices Handbook that is now an Appendix to the Local Rules of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Landau also has served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.
