In industries where delays affect profitability, Matthew Chait works on timely and cost-effective solutions to commercial disputes. He is a litigation attorney in West Palm Beach, where he helps businesses resolve problems in and out of court.
With a focus on general business and commercial real estate litigation, Mr. Chait represents developers, financial institutions, asset management firms and a variety of other corporations and partnerships. In that capacity, Mr. Chait handles matters involving disputes over purchase agreements, loans, leases, distribution agreements, partnership documents and other contracts, as well as fraud. Mr. Chait also represents institutional and non-institutional lenders, as well as some individual borrowers, in complex commercial foreclosures and loan workouts.
Background
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Chait practiced law in New York. He also served as an intern in the Staff Attorney’s Office of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and as an intern for the Honorable Richard Conway Casey, United States District Judge, Southern District of New York.
