Robin Henderson Leavengood is an attorney in Shutts & Bowen's Tampa Office, where she practices in the firm's Construction and Litigation Practice Groups. Ms. Leavengood practices business litigation with an emphasis on the construction industry. She represents developers, property owners, public entities, lenders, builders, contractors, suppliers, and condominium associations in all phases of construction projects from contracting to dispute resolution, litigation, mediation, and arbitration.
Ms. Leavengood assists clients with a wide variety of issues including contract disputes, delay claims, defects, liens, payment disputes, negligence, fraud, warranties, professional liability, tax contests, collections, and intellectual property protection. She received her J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law, where she was a published author and Senior Galleys Editor at the Florida Law Review. She earned her B.A. in business administration from Furman University. She also studied English literature, history, and theater at the University of London and studied law at Oxford University through an exchange program in Oxford, England.
