Experience
While she primarily deals with labor and employment disputes, with a focus on complex civil litigation, Ms. Rubin has wide-ranging litigation experience in many areas, including commercial litigation, insurance defense and consumer collections. She works with employers of all types, and in various industries throughout the State of Florida, to help resolve workforce issues. Ms. Rubin has also appeared before Florida's appellate courts.
Ms. Rubin's work as a former in-house counsel also adds a deeper understanding of effective employment practices. She uses her insider's perspective to provide advice and counsel to her clients and regularly drafts documents such as employment and independent contractor agreements, separation agreements, restrictive covenants related to employment, and employment policies and manuals. She also helps prepare and present legal seminars on a variety of topics.
