David Markese is an attorney in the Litigation Department in Orlando. He is experienced in handling trial and appellate work. His most recent position as a Staff Attorney with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta gives him exceptional understanding of the appeals process.
Prior to joining the Court of Appeals, Mr. Markese was an associate attorney at two private law firms, where he practiced in the areas of tax exempt organizations and insurance defense. He also worked as a policy analyst for the Oregon Legislative Assembly, where he advised members on the issues before the House of Representatives and analyzed and summarized proposed legislation.
