Steven J. Zucker is a partner in the Orlando office of Shutts & Bowen and his practice is primarily in the areas of public finance and local government law. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Zucker worked in the City Attorney’s Office for the City of Orlando, Florida. He has served as counsel to Cities, Community Redevelopment Agencies, Community Development Districts and Expressway Authorities in the offering of tax-exempt bonds, notes and other forms of indebtedness and in rendering legal advice on local government law issues, including the Sunshine Law and the Public Records Law in the State of Florida. Mr. Zucker also represents investment bankers as underwriter’s counsel in the purchase of tax-exempt bond offerings. His other experience pertains to special assessments, state and local taxes. He is a member of the firm's Government Law and Public Finance Practice Group.
Mr. Zucker is active in the community and currently participates in the Hospital Hospitality Mission of the Orlando Regional Healthcare Foundation. He also served on the National Association of Hospital Hospitality Houses Board of Directors from 1998 to 2001.
