Biography

Amanda Simmons has a diverse professional and legal background, and concentrates her practice in construction litigation and equine law.  In addition to preparing complaints, briefs, motions, legal memoranda and advocating in court, she has experience drafting stock and asset purchase agreements and other corporate documents.  She has developed a national reputation as an equine attorney, where she represents nationally acclaimed and international clients in both litigation and transactional matters. 

Ms. Simmons' practical experience in equine law comes from 20 years of involvement in the hunter/jumper and Thoroughbred industries .  She currently trains at a local equestrian center owned by a woman who competes on the Irish national team in three-day eventing.  Additionally, in 2007,  two of Ms. Simmons' Thoroughbred racing clients won prestigious Eclipse Awards, including Horse of the Year.

Ms. Simmons is admitted to all state courts in both Kentucky and Florida.
