Maria Perez-Aguiar has 20 years of experience in litigation matters. Ms. Perez-Aguiar works with the Business Litigation, Creditors’ Rights and Construction Practice Groups at Shutts & Bowen LLP. She has worked on litigation cases involving general contract and commercial disputes, business torts, professional liability, banking, insurance, securities fraud, and complex commercial litigation disputes.
Ms. Perez-Aguiar works on fact investigations, research and analyzing documents and pleadings from the inception of a case through to preparation for trial. She has extensive experience in the preparation of chronologies, analysis and reports in connection with the management of the case files. Her work also includes organization of the documents and exhibits for depositions and trials. Ms. Perez-Aguiar has assisted in preparing and conducting trials in both Federal Court and State Court.
Ms. Perez-Aguiar is fluent in Spanish.
