Law Students

Our summer clerkship program is designed to expose students to a representative cross-section of the services we provide. Summer associates are assigned research, writing, and preliminary drafting of memoranda, pleadings, and briefs. They are encouraged to observe attorneys in depositions, hearings, and trials; and attend client meetings, if appropriate.

The South Florida Association for Law Placement has organized a pro bono work day at Habitat for Humanity in Miami, where summer associates, interns, attorneys and placement personnel from around South Florida participate in building homes for the community. The firm also hosts luncheons for attorneys and summer associates, as well as social functions at the homes of partners and associates, so that summer associates can get to know their colleagues on a personal level.

Our summer program accurately reflects life as a full-time associate and we are proud of our history of hiring entry level associates through the program.
