Tampa Office Expands

Anthony J. Fantauzzi, III, Suzanne Y. Labrit, Terri N. Thomas and Nicole Berry have joined Shutts & Bowen’s Tampa office. Mr. Fantauzzi, Ms. Labrit and Ms. Thomas will join the firm’s litigation department and Ms. Berry joins the firm’s real estate group. The Tampa office was opened in the summer of 2006 to address the rising demand in the area for sophisticated legal services with a broad geographic reach.
Anthony J. Fantauzzi, III, joins the litigation group as a partner. His practice emphasizes commercial and corporate litigation. Mr. Fantauzzi is active in the Tampa legal community and is currently the president-elect of the Hillsborough County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.
Terri N. Thomas joins the litigation group as a partner. Most recently she served as senior corporate counsel to Danka Office Imaging, a national digital imaging company, where she managed the company’s litigation portfolio. Ms. Thomas’ practice will include complex commercial litigation, corporate litigation, construction litigation and creditors’ rights.
Suzanne Y. Labrit is a partner. She recently relocated to Tampa from the firm’s Miami office, and will continue to focus on litigation in the health care, entertainment and financial services industries.
Nicole Berry joins the firm as an associate. She will handle both corporate and real estate matters including real estate finance, mergers and acquisitions, leasing and development.
