Michael P. Gennett Appointed to Health Law Certification Committee

Michael Gennett, a partner in Shutts & Bowen’s Health Law Practice Group, has been appointed to serve on the Florida Bar Health Law Certification Committee for a three-year beginning July 1, 2008.
Mr. Gennett, who has been Board Certified in Health Law for more than five years, is one of the Committee Members who reviews applications from health law practitioners who are qualified to become Board Certified in this area.
Mr. Gennett focuses on Medicare and Medicaid issues, regulatory compliance and other Health Law matters. His work has included cases involving the creation of insurance entities, the purchase and sale of health care providers and the collection of large commercial debts.
