Alexander Tachmes Elected Vice President of the Board of Governors of the Miami City Ballet

Alexander I. Tachmes, a partner in Shutts & Bowen’s Real Estate and Land Use Practice Groups, has been elected Vice President of the Board of Governors of the Miami City Ballet. 

Mr. Tachmes has been active in supporting the Miami City Ballet for several years.  He has been a member of the Board of Trustees, the Finance Committee and Artists’ Circle Steering Committee of the Miami City Ballet.

Mr. Tachmes concentrates his practice in the areas of governmental matters including land use and zoning, competitive bidding and lobbying, commercial transactions including real estate, and matters pertaining to the hospitality industry.

Mr. Tachmes is a former First Assistant City Attorney for Miami Beach. He has spoken on multiple panels and at conferences relating to the hospitality industry and is a published author.
