Richard Landman and George Andrews Join Lauderdale Office

Richard E. Landman and George N. Andrews have joined Shutts & Bowen’s Business Litigation Group in the Fort Lauderdale office, announced Joseph D. Bolton, the firm’s Managing Partner.

Mr. Landman joins the firm as a partner. He has extensive trial experience representing financial institutions in complex consumer-oriented matters in Broward, Dade and Palm Beach Counties. He defends financial institutions in matters involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act and other complex consumer oriented statutes.

Mr. Landman received his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, magna cum laude, in 1998, his M.B.A. from San Jose State University in 1997, and his B.B.A. from the University of Michigan, with distinction, in 1987.

Mr. Andrews joins the firm as an associate and will be working with Mr. Landman representing financial institutions in consumer matters. He received his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 2005 and his B.S. from Barry University, with distinction, in 1992.
