PDF Version
July 23, 2008

Joseph Englander, a partner in Shutts & Bowen’s Intellectual Property Group, recently moderated the International Trademark Association (INTA) Roundtable on Electronic Discovery on July 22 at the Lincoln Plaza Building in Orlando, Florida.  INTA is a not-for-profit membership association dedicated to the support and advancement of trademarks and related intellectual property as elements of fair and effective national and international commerce.

Recent changes in the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure have required additional procedures relating to electronic discovery. While these changes have been covered extensively, this particular seminar focused on key issues trademark attorneys should consider when instructing clients on the impact of the rule changes on company policies.

Mr. Englander has more than 16 years’ experience practicing in trademark law.   He is also a patent attorney who works with local, national and global Shutts & Bowen clients in a wide range of industry segments that extend from high technology and manufacturing to restaurants and hospitality.

He is a frequent speaker at CLE seminars on intellectual property law and is active in INTA.
