On November 8, Miami attorney Elizabeth Herr was the featured speaker at the University of Miami’s Office of Estate and Gift Planning Breakfast.
During the “Discover the Importance of Having an Estate Plan” panel, Elizabeth discussed the importance of estate planning, foundational estate planning documents, and charitable giving strategies.
About Elizabeth A. Herr
Elizabeth A. Herr is an Associate in the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is a member of the Private Client Services Practice Group. Elizabeth focuses her practice on tax and estate planning for domestic and international clients. She has experience drafting suites of foundational and advanced planning instruments (including ILITs) and administering and terminating trusts. Elizabeth also conducts sophisticated tax research and has previously drafted tax planning and tax risk memos for clients. Further, she assists with real property and dissolution of marriage issues as they interact with estate planning. Elizabeth is a member of both the Real Property, Probate, Trust Law Section and the Tax Section of the Florida Bar. She is also a member of the Coral Gables Estate Planning Council.
