Mark Grafton Named to Board of Trustees of HistoryMiami MuseumMiami Real Estate and Land Use attorney Mark Grafton was recently named to the Board of Trustees of the HistoryMiami Museum.

Mark, a sixth-generation Miamian with roots reaching back to John S. Collins, will use his position to foster partnerships with other local organizations and find ways to engage with Miami’s newcomers about Miami history.

HistoryMiami Museum, a Smithsonian Affiliate located in downtown Miami, safeguards and shares Miami stories to foster learning, inspire a sense of place, and cultivate an engaged community. Through exhibitions, artistic endeavors, city tours, education, research, collections and publications, HistoryMiami Museum works to help everyone understand the importance of the past in shaping Miami’s future. HistoryMiami Museum connects people by telling the stories of Miami’s communities, individuals, places and events.

About Mark E. Grafton

Mark E. Grafton is a Senior Associate in the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he is a member of the Real Estate Practice Group. Mark possesses experience negotiating and drafting a wide variety of agreements relating to real property, including restrictive covenants, easements, development agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and lease amendments. In addition, Mark has advised both prospective and current property owners in navigating local land use regulations to assist in evaluating their entitlement options.
