HANDY Inc. to Honor Shutts & Bowen and others during Scholars Breakfast

HANDY Inc. will honor Shutts & Bowen and two other supporters who have contributed to the nonprofit’s success as Champions for Children during the organization’s 11th Annual Scholars Breakfast. The event is taking place on June 3 at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66.

The 17 HANDY scholarship recipients make up the program’s largest graduating class yet. These individuals have overcome abuse and neglect to graduate from college during the last 12 months.

HANDY’s mission is to embrace, educate, and empower vulnerable youth to become engaged, productive adults. HANDY annually serves more than 1,300 at-risk children who participate in comprehensive programs that focus on education, youth development, and economic self-sufficiency.
