Leah J. Zammit is a partner in the Tampa office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is a member of the Business Litigation Practice Group. Leah represents her clients in a variety of litigation matters related to:

• the sale and acquisition of real property;
• the acquisition, financing and development of multi-phased and mixed-use projects;
• office, retail and restaurant leases;
• corporate asset sales; and
• general business disputes.

Prior to joining Shutts, Leah practiced law in the Atlanta area and managed her own firm for over 14 years, focusing her practice on civil litigation, real estate transactions and family law matters for private and corporate clients. Leah was appointed as a Judge for the Cobb County Magistrate Court in Marietta, Georgia and served from 2005 to 2009. She is an active member of her community, previously serving on the Board of Directors for YWCA in Northwest Georgia, an organization dedicated to assisting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Leah currently serves as an adjunct professor at Stetson University College of Law, where she teaches trial advocacy.

Leah graduated with her Juris Doctor (cum laude) from Stetson University College of Law, earning numerous advocacy and character awards, including the Victor O’Wehle Trial Award and the Augusta B. and Cecil Bailey Award for Outstanding Character and Meritorious Leadership in the Field of Law.
