Max Goldstein is an attorney in the Tampa office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he is a member of the Corporate practice group.

Max focuses his practice on matters related to corporate transactions, government contracts, and trust and estates, with significant experience in state and local tax. He regularly advises clients on matters including:

  • Formations and dissolutions
  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Government contracting
  • Business processes
  • Trust formation and administration

Prior to joining Shutts, Max consulted in both indirect tax and technology practices for a multinational accounting firm. In those roles, he specialized in technology-based restructurings, transaction optimization, multi-state audit defense, and refund studies. His clients included domestic and international entities across a broad range of industries including entertainment, technology, manufacturing, energy, leasing, and hospitality.

Max also maintains his Florida Supreme Court certification as a Civil Circuit Mediator.
