Aleksey Shtivelman Joins GMCC’s International Business Committee

Miami partner Aleksey Shtivelman, a member of the firm’s International Dispute Resolution Practice Group, has joined the International Business Committee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.

As part of the Committee, Aleksey will be working to support the Chamber’s advocacy efforts, including promoting international business, trade, and logistics in South Florida, growing the Greater Miami Foreign Trade Zone #32 to facilitate the import and export of goods, collaborating with other foreign chambers and economic development agencies, as well as state and federal agencies. Along with GMCC’s Consular Corps and Trade Representatives Committee, the International Business Committee’s mission is to develop, maintain, and expand international business and trade opportunities in Miami.

The Committee is also responsible for hosting dignitaries ensuring the trade community is informed with new international regulations through its Cargo Network and its relationship and bi-national chambers and international organizations.
