Brett Renton Speaks at the 54th Annual Florida Airports Council Conference

Brett Renton, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, recently participated on a legal hot topics panel during the 54th Florida Airports Council (FAC) Annual Conference & Exposition.

Speaking during a general session at the event, “Legal Hot Topics – What Are We Facing Now And What’s On The Horizon,” Brett and his co-panelists addressed the numerous legal issues facing the aviation industry. Brett spoke on a number of topics, including PFAS litigation, revisions to Florida Statute 332.0075 (Airport Transparency), as well as cybersecurity. On the issue of cybersecurity, Brett highlighted important legal implications as both the state and federal levels, including recent Florida legislation and new TSA requirements.
