Miami attorneys Eduardo Rivero and Tyler Walters, members of the firm’s Class Action and Mass Litigation practice group, have been named winners of the Miami Dade Bar Young Lawyers Section 40 Under 40 Award.
The Miami Dade Bar Young Lawyers Section created the 40 Under 40 Award as a way to recognize young lawyers who often do the lion’s share of the work without public recognition. This year there were more than 150 nominations across all sections of Miami.
Awards will be distributed during the organization’s signature annual event – Miami Nights – taking place Thursday, February 22, at the Coral Gables Museum. This event celebrates the impact the YLS has made on the legal community in Miami.

Eduardo H. Rivero is a Partner in the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he is a member of the Class Action and Mass Litigation Practice Group. Eduardo primarily represents insurance carriers in personal injury protection litigation matters, specializing in the interpretation and application of automobile insurance policies. Prior to joining the firm, Eduardo practiced as an Assistant State Attorney in the Miami-Dade Office of the State Attorney, where he handled homicide and other punishable by life offenses and tried over thirty cases to verdict.
