Miami attorney Ana Portal participated in a panel titled “Preparing for a Career in International Arbitration: The Do’s and Don’ts” coordinated by the FIU College of Law’s International Law Student Association.

Ana was joined by law students who are interested in practicing law in the fields of international alternative dispute resolution. The discussion was focused on advising students on how to pursue their desire to practice international arbitration, dispute resolution, and international law, including information on helpful skills to develop as soon-to-be attorneys, the benefits of joining an international arbitration moot team as a law student, how to network during COVID-19, active legal associations that promote international arbitration and dispute resolution, and other useful tips.

The other panelists included Clarissa Rodriguez and Laura Reich from Reich Rodriguez, P.A., and Eduardo Palmer from Eduardo Palmer, P.A.
