Carolina Saavedra, an attorney in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Tampa office, has been nominated by the Board of Directors of the American Bar Foundation (ABF) to become a Fellow of the ABF.
The Fellows is a global honorary society of lawyers, judges, law faculty and legal scholars that is limited to one percent of the lawyers admitted to practice in the United States and a limited number of lawyers in jurisdictions outside the United States. According to the ABF, those selected as Fellows have exhibited outstanding leadership in the legal profession and service to society.
The ABF is a nonprofit research institute committed to advancing justice through research on law and legal institutions.

Carolina Saavedra is a Senior Associate in the Tampa office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is a member of the Construction Litigation Practice Group. Carolina focuses her practice on complex commercial and construction litigation matters in both state and federal courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution settings. She represents general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, suppliers and other parties in matters involving construction and design defects, contract disputes, liens, delays and unforeseen conditions on public and private projects.
