Shutts & Bowen LLP Miami attorney Emma Refuveille was named Chair of the Communications Committee of the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar, effective July 1.

Emma has demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership within the Business Law Section, having served as Second Vice Chair of the Communications Committee two years ago and Vice Chair during the past year. In addition to her new role as Chair, she also serves as a member of the Executive Council of the Business Law Section.

Attorney Deedee Bitran serves as Second Vice Chair of the Communications Committee. Deedee previously chaired the committee during the past year and now serves as its outgoing Chair, continuing her leadership in a new capacity. Together, Emma and Deedee will help support the committee's efforts to communicate news, initiatives, and resources for the Business Law Section and its members.
