Eric Reed Participates in Trial Lawyer Bootcamp Panel - Anatomy of a Trial

Eric Reed, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office and President of the Orange County Bar Association, recently moderated an “Anatomy of a Trial” panel discussion during a Trial Lawyer Bootcamp program on May 13, 2022.

Organized in collaboration between the American College of Trial Lawyers, the Orange County Bar Association, the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association Orlando Chapter, the event was attended by more than 70 people and 20 speakers, including federal and state court judges. Eric moderated the panel discussion on direct examination, entitled “Anatomy of a Trial – The Rosenberg Spy Case.” The panel, which was part of the Trial Lawyer Bootcamp program, was held at the U.S. District Courthouse in Orlando. The program included best practices for opening and closing statements, as well as direct and cross examination questioning techniques.

Eric Reed is a partner in the Orlando office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he is a member of the Business Litigation Practice Group. Eric combines his trial experience and communications skills in disputes involving commercial litigation, construction litigation, commercial landlord/tenant litigation, commercial and consumer collections and replevins, mortgage and lien foreclosures, and general lender representation. Currently, Eric serves as President of the Orange County Bar Association. He also serves as a board member of the Orange County Bar Association Legal Aid Society, the Orange County Bar Foundation and he previously chaired the Orange County Bar Association Judicial Relations Committee.
