Eric Reed, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office and President of the Orange County Bar Association, recently spoke during the inaugural multi-county Veteran recognition event, “The Florida Patriot: Honoring Legal Leader Veterans Service to Country & Community,” featuring judges from several circuits across Florida.
The “Florida Patriot” Legal Leaders event took place on Monday, November 8, 2021. The event was in recognition of Veterans Day and was a collaboration between the Broward County Bar Association, Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association, North Dade Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, Palm Beach County Bar Association, Sarasota County Bar Association, Hillsborough County Bar Association, Cuban American Bar Association, Jacksonville Bar Association and St. Petersburg Bar Association.
During the first of its kind state-wide event, Eric introduced the honoree selected on behalf of Orange County for their leadership in veteran legal services, the Honorable Jerry Brewer of the Ninth Judicial Circuit.

Eric Reed is a partner in the Orlando office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he is a member of the Business Litigation Practice Group.
