Erik M. Hanson, an attorney in the Sarasota office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, will present “Changing Your Construction Contracts for COVID-19” to the Gulf Coast Builders Exchange via Zoom on Tuesday, August 18, 2020.
During the virtual panel presentation, Erik will provide insights on standard AIA contract provisions, terminations/suspension for convenience, delay clauses, claim amounts and recommended revisions in prime contracts and subcontracts for contractors/subcontractors. Erik will be joined by his co-panelist, Ryan Owen (Adams and Reese LLP), and the panel moderator, Dan Harris (Controller, Tandem Construction).
Founded in 1952, the Gulf Coast Builders Exchange (GCBX) is a trade organization representing a broad cross section of the building industry, including contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and others from affiliated industries.
