Erik Szabo to Present March CE Course for FSPA North Central Florida Chapter

Erik Szabo, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, will present a 1-hour CE course to the Florida Swimming Pool Association’s North Central Florida Chapter on March 23, 2022, at 6 pm in Ocala.

The presentation, titled “Fundamentals of Florida Construction Contracts,” will provide attendees with an overview of important considerations for construction contracts in Florida, discussing practical tips for mitigating potential claims related to pool construction from the perspective of legal counsel. The course will take place immediately following the Chapter’s board of director’s meeting. For more information, click here.

The Florida Swimming Pool Association serves as the coordinating organization for 16 local FSPA Chapters and more than 700 members, providing government relations representation on behalf of its members to the Florida Building Commission and the Construction Industry Licensing Board as well as other legislative bodies that regulate the swimming pool industry in Florida such as the Department of Health.
